Caitlyn Jenner goes after “woke” Nike as a result of they dared to… decide a transgender influencer to advertise their sports activities bras…
Yes, transgender celeb Caitlyn Jenner, who herself bravely transitioned practically a decade in the past now — and is the truth is perhaps probably the most well-known trans girl on the earth — is slamming the sports activities attire firm for backing transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney with a brand new set of promos! WTF?!?!

The 73-year-old ex-reality TV star’s most up-to-date controversy kicked off on Thursday. The former California gubernatorial candidate (LOLz) took to Twitter to present her ideas about Nike’s resolution.
First, the I Am Cait alum referenced Nike’s founder and former CEO Phil Knight in important remarks concerning the “shame” she has in seeing the corporate go “so woke” lately:
“As someone that grew up in awe of what Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke! We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage.”

An outrage?! Over a model sponsorship?! REALLY??

It’s fairly wealthy coming from Kris Jenner‘s ex, after all. But after Caitlyn acquired roundly criticized for her unlucky preliminary tackle the matter, she returned to Twitter a couple of hours later with much more. For one, the Malibu resident demanded context be put in place relating to her earlier “woke” feedback. She claimed her Mulvaney criticism was particularly referencing the case of ten-time Olympic medalist Allyson Felix:
“A little context… I did a collab with H&M (I have done many athletic brand collabs over the years as a successful athlete). I don’t blame Dylan (smart move). I did not like how Nike treated Allyson Felix when she became pregnant. I spoke on the outrage of disparity in their pay”

Felix was previously a Nike-sponsored athlete who left the corporate after they supposedly failed to ensure the rest of her sponsorship contract as soon as she turned pregnant in 2018.
While Nike has not commented on her declare, the world-class runner wrote an op-ed for the New York Times in 2019 recounting her frustration over allegedly being pushed out from her previously profitable model deal after the corporate “wasn’t willing” to attend whereas she began a household:
“I’ve been to four Olympics, I’ve had the successes, and my value is still not being seen. Even after becoming a mom, I still had that desire to run, I still knew I was capable. But I was left without shoes to wear at the Tokyo Olympics, which is not ideal for a runner.”
Like we famous up high, Nike has but to remark particularly on the claims made by Felix in that now 4-year-old NYT op-ed. It’s not the one time this week we’ve seen that story bandied about as a speaking level for right-wing criticism of Nike. They simply occur to out of the blue care about how ladies are handled proper after the partnership with a trans individual. It’s virtually like that’s not actually what they’re offended about. After all, they’re additionally going nuts about Dylan’s partnership with Bud Light, so… perhaps it’s actually simply the existence of trans folks they’ve an issue with??
Later, Jenner returned to Twitter as soon as extra so as to add one other message with LOTS OF CAPS LOCK tacked on:
“EQUALITY > INCLUSIVITY (STOP TRYING TO ERASE WOMEN). The differences between men and women are real and are a good thing! It doesn’t make trans ppl a bad thing, either. Why is it so black and white with the RADICAL RAINBOW MAFIA?!”

OMG…
The “radical rainbow mafia.” They aren’t those launching offended tirades over a single cis individual getting a model deal, Caitlyn!
Nike has been the topic of a high-profile boycott for days now after selecting Mulvaney for his or her most up-to-date partnership. The controversy is fairly wild contemplating Mulvaney isn’t even the primary transgender star Nike has chosen to align with lately!! Back in 2021, Nike partnered with 26-year-old transgender professional soccer participant Mara Gomez, who performs in Argentina’s highest-level league. But clearly issues have solely gotten worse with the conservatives’ assaults on the LGBTQ+ group since then…
Over on Instagram this week, the world-famous model demanded its followers be “kind” and “inclusive” in feedback on their web page, lest they run the chance of deletion:
“You are an essential component to the success of your community. We welcome comments that contribute to a positive and constructive discussion. Be kind. Be inclusive. Encourage each other. Hate speech, bullying, or other behaviors that are not in the spirit of a diverse and inclusive community will be deleted.”
Obviously, on her personal social media app of alternative, Caitlyn has chosen not to remark in that inclusive spirit. We’ve recognized for years this was the ludicrous endpoint of her completely un-self-aware conservative assist. As they get an increasing number of anti-trans of their silly tradition wars, Caitlyn was certain to ultimately simply decry her personal existence.
Reactions, Perezcious readers??
