Caroline Manzo accused Brandi Glanville of humping her and thrusting her tongue into her mouth amid filming on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season 4 in a lawsuit she filed in opposition to Bravo, Peacock, and its manufacturing corporations final week.
Days after the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum’s lawsuit was first confirmed, extra particulars have been leaked that reveal the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills forged member’s alleged sexual harassment, which Caroline, 62, claims was inspired by producers in Morocco.
After first accusing Brandi, 51, of forcing herself on her and kissing her with out consent, Caroline stated in courtroom paperwork obtained by Page Six on January 26 that Brandi “then proceeded to mount Manzo on the couch holding Manzo down with her body, forcibly squeezed Manzo’s cheeks together and thrust her tongue in Manzo’s mouth, while humping her.”
The paperwork went on to say that the incident triggered Caroline’s “dormant and horrific memories” of a sexual assault that occurred when she was seven and added that Brandi additionally “forced her vagina” in opposition to Caroline’s again throughout one other second in Morocco.
While Caroline left filming early, she stated manufacturing filmed her on the best way to the airport in hopes of “gathering more ‘drama’ to increase their ratings.”
“Defendants, including Bravo, regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, cause them to become severely intoxicated, and then direct, encourage and/or allow them to sexually harass other cast members because that is good for ratings,” the lawsuit said. “Caroline Manzo is a victim of those harmful actions.”
In her lawsuit, which doesn’t title the RHOBH alum as a defendant, Caroline is suing for “negligence, sexual harassment, sex/gender discrimination, sexual battery and other causes of action that she says violate state laws in California and New York.”
While Bravo and Peacock have remained silent in regard to Caroline’s case in opposition to them, Caroline’s lawyer, Derek Smith, expressed outrage within the networks.
“[We] look forward to having the issues decided by a jury. Sexual harassment should never be entertainment!” he instructed Page Six.
Though there have been claims that season 4 of RHUGT won’t ever make it to air as a result of allegations made in opposition to producers, no official determination has been introduced.
Following the submitting of Caroline’s lawsuit, Brandi’s rep launched a response to Page Six.
“Sadly, Brandi had to wake up to yet another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false accusations about her,” the rep said. “While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault. She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed, or Bravo.”
