Today, writer Clover Press introduced a brand new collection of artbooks, The Marvel Art of…, which can highlight work numerous artists have achieved for the House of Ideas. The collection will kick off by a Kickstarter marketing campaign with books that includes the work of two artists with iconic, instantly-recognizable kinds. The Marvel Art of Alex Maleev and The Marvel Art of David Mack might be outsized hardcover espresso desk books that includes traditional and never-before-seen Marvel Comics artwork by every artist. Both Maleev and Mack have labored extensively on Marvel’s Daredevil collection, and with Brian Michael Bendis on different Marvel tasks. In addition to introducing Echo to the Marvel Universe within the pages of Daredevil, Mack offered covers for the Bendis-written Alias and its follow-up collection, Jessica Jones. For Maleev, his Marvel partnership with Bendis contains work on Daredevil, Moon Knight, Iron Man, and extra.
