Netflix has given followers an actual deal with as we speak on Halloween when it launched the Scott Pilgrim Takes Off opening credits sequence. The intro options “Bloom,” the present’s theme music carried out by Japanese rock band Necry Talkie.
The much-anticipated animated adaption of the Bryan Lee O’Malley graphic novels arrives on the streaming platform on Nov. 17.

“They’ve all gone on to do incredible things, but to me, they’re family,” O’Malley advised Tudum again in March. “There — to this day — is still a group email with the entire cast on it, that’s been going since 2010. I was happy to be able to reach out to everyone with the news that we had finally come up with a way to continue the adventure. Seeing (and hearing) everyone come back to their roles has been a true pleasure.”
Although e mail chains may not be as common as they have been 13 years in the past, Scott Pilgrim has continued to realize a loyal cult following since the comedian’s inception in 2004. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off follows the title character as he falls in love with New Yorker Ramona Flowers. But so as to date her, he should defeat all seven of her evil exes. Then issues get much more sophisticated.
“I knew that a live action sequel was unlikely, but I would usually defer by suggesting that perhaps an anime adaptation was an interesting way to go,” mentioned Edgar Wright, who directed the stay motion movie, again in March. “And then, lo and behold, one day Netflix got in touch to ask about this exact idea. But even better, our brilliant creator Bryan Lee O’Malley had an idea that was way more adventurous than just a straight adaptation of the original books.”
