Chelsea Handler stated she was unknowingly taking Ozempic, the Type 2 diabetes drug that many are utilizing to shed weight, after her physician prescribed it.
On the Call Her Daddy podcast, the comic instructed host Alex Cooper that her “anti-aging doctor just hands it out to anybody.”
“I did not even know I used to be on it,” Handler stated.
Ozempic is a model title for semaglutide, an injectable medicine that the FDA authorized in 2017 to deal with and handle Type 2 diabetes and coronary heart issues that folks with it face.

“I’m an irresponsible drug user, but I’m not going to take a diabetic drug,” she stated.
