With a 60-cease tour in the rearview, Deorro is popping inward for his introspective EP, Reflect.
For followers of Deorro’s longtime penchant for bounce and entrancing pop grooves, they’re present in droves in his newest effort. But Reflect additionally brings forth a few of Deorro’s most nuanced songwriting but, as he takes an open and sincere deep dive into the pressures related to a touring way of life.
Turning the mirror on himself with the EP’s opener, Deorro soundtracks his conflicted interior monologue, in the end giving in to the vices of a celebration-centric way of life. Still, there’s deep introspection from the trenches on the different facet of these all too momentary highs. Case in level is “Help Me,” which finds Deorro teaming up with Kiiara and NIIKO x SWAE to ship a powerhouse pop monitor.

Ultimately, there is a feeling of stability and determination discovered with songs like “You Are Not Alone.” Teaming up with Dear Sara, Deorro pairs soothing, melancholic sound design with lyrics that convey a definite sense of consolation.
While Deorro finds the solace in his assist system wanted to outlive in a quick-paced surroundings, the trials and tribulations stay ongoing, and Reflect represents a small encapsulation of what these each day battles entail.
