Laura Lynch, one of many founding members of the Dixie Chicks, has died aged 65.
According to studies, the singer was concerned in a car crash in Texas on Friday night, US time.
The musician’s cousin reported the information to TMZ, saying that it occurred whereas she was driving on the freeway.

According to TMZ, The Texas Dept. of Public Safety confirmed Lynch’s demise, revealing that the accident occurred when one other driver tried to overhaul a car on a two-lane freeway, which resulted in a head-on collision with Lynch’s car.
The singer was declared useless on the scene, whereas the driving force of the opposite car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.
In 1989, Lynch fashioned the nation band The Dixie Chicks alongside Robin Lynn Macy, Martie Erwin, and Emily Erwin.
Though she began because the band’s upright bassist, Lynch finally grew to become a lead singer. She finally left the band in 1995, and was changed by Natalie Maines.

In 2020, the band modified their identify to easily ‘The Chicks’ in the wake of social justice and Black Lives Matter protests.
Lynch is survived by her husband, Mac Tull, and their daughter.
