Don Cheadle Comments On His MCU Commitment As War Machine

Longtime MCU member Don Cheadle opened up about how lengthy he’s dedicated to the War Machine position.

Don Cheadle has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as War Machine since Iron Man 2. An opportunity to actually do more with this character. So yeah, I’m in. You know, at this point… we know there’s going to be more opportunities to do it, nobody’s [twisting] anybody’s arm. It’s like, does this sound like something that would be fun? Is this something where we could really do something that is exciting and is interesting? Cause if not, we don’t need to show up.”

“Secret Invasion” is a newly introduced sequence heading to Disney+ that stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn because the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in “Captain Marvel.” The crossover occasion sequence showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who’ve been infiltrating Earth for years.

The sequence is created by Kyle Bradstreet and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo.
