He Wants To Step Back From Music For “Maybe A Year Or Something”
The Toronto-bred artist made his announcement throughout an episode of SiriusXM’s Table for One sequence that premiered on Friday (Oct. 6).
After reflecting on his album, he abruptly revealed, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit.”
“I’m gonna be honest — I got some other things I need to do for some other people that I made promises to, but I probably won’t make music for a little bit.”
He additional defined, “I need to focus on my health first and foremost.” While Drake didn’t go into too a lot element, he acknowledged that he’s been having gastrointestinal points.
“I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach. … I need to focus on my health, and I need to get right. And I’m gonna do that.”
The rapper added, “Imma lock the door on the studio for a little bit.” However, he famous that, whereas he’s not sure of the small print, he’s contemplating stepping again for “maybe a year or something.”
“I need to get right. I have a lot of things that I would love to focus on, so Imma lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is — maybe a year or something, maybe a little longer.”
