My first time actually diving into Ekko & Sidetrack was after I heard their unimaginable flip of Flume’s “Rushing Back.” Now, three years later, they’re set to launch their debut album through the legendary Viper Recordings and the first single is out now.
The pair beforehand teamed up with the Bristolian songstress Ruth Royall on fan favourite “Paper Birds,” a monitor that has stood out since its launch for its illustrious soundscapes and enchanting vocals. Now, working collectively as soon as once more, you may relaxation assured the result’s nothing wanting magical.
“The Light” is a pulsing, delicate liquid DnB monitor that performs splendidly off Royall’s vocals and the brilliant synth work within the melody because the drums push the whole lot ahead.
