Eva Mendes has been announced as ambassador for 2022 McDonald’s McHappy Day.
The Hollywood star did not hesitate when requested to help the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) once more, two years after she fronted the charity occasion again in 2020.
However, again then, Mendes confirmed her help from afar, visiting with Ronald McDonald House households by way of Zoom to chat about the whole lot and something and unfold positivity. But this 12 months, with the pandemic easing and borders opening, Mendes is ready to go to with the households in individual.

“I am incredibly honoured to once again partner with McDonald’s to raise awareness of McHappy Day and support the truly invaluable work of Ronald McDonald House Charities,” Mendes stated in a press release.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with some of the incredible families staying at a Ronald McDonald House, listening to their inspirational stories and witnessing first-hand the life-changing support services provided by RMHC.”
It’s essential for Mendes to join with the sick youngsters and their households who depend on the organisation as a result of her cousin Linda was in the identical boat seven years in the past.
In an interview with 9Honey Celebrity again in 2020, Mendes revealed her cousin Linda’s son, Andrew, was sick and Ronald McDonald House helped their household of their time of want.
“It was around the time I was becoming a mother for the first time and I just couldn’t imagine the amount of stress she was under and the fear,” Mendes advised us on the time.

“And when I offered her everything under the sun, she said, ‘No, really, I’m OK, Evie’ – they call me Evie – ‘I’m at the Ronald McDonald House and it’s amazing. I couldn’t be more comfortable and I have such a support system here.’
“So I’m internally grateful to Ronald McDonald House. Now little Andrew is seven and he is doing nice. He’s a wholesome little boy.”
Mendes will meet families at Ronald McDonald House and will visit a local McDonald’s restaurant on McHappy Day on Saturday, November 19.
