Gucci Mane‘s ex-artist, Lil Wop, has made a brave decision to come forward and live his truth.
Taking to his Instagram page on Thursday (May 18), the “Lost My Mind” rapper revealed that they’re transitioning from a person to a girl — and it’s a choice he has not not made calmly.
“In The Transition Into Becoming A Full Transgender,” he wrote within the Instagram caption whereas revealing a more moderen look than the one his followers had been used to previous to this publish.

As of this writing, Lil Wop has not introduced a reputation change, nor a change in his most popular pronouns.
While Lil Wop shouldn’t be the primary rapper to come back out as trans, he’s been dropping hints that he’s not a cis-hetero male for fairly a while now.

Back in 2022, the Chicago rapper — who was beforehand signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimos imprint — revealed he’s bisexual. The “Like a Savage” lyricist made the announcement on his Instagram on February 13.
“I’m Bisexual I Like Guys & Girls It’s W.E.,” Wop wrote on Instagram alongside a photograph of him in pigtails along with his midriff displaying.
The rapper’s most up-to-date launch was 2021’s featureless mixtape Say Cheese, which was gothic and rock influenced. In a 2017 interview with The Fader, Wop stated he considers himself a rockstar greater than a rapper.
“I mean, my music is rock,” Wop instructed the outlet. “You can lose your mind, you gon’ go crazy to it. It’s rock-hard banging, not soft rock & roll but hard rock. I made my own shit, my own style. So what you see going on: it’s Lil Wop.”
While Wop hasn’t achieved many interviews lately, he has been engaged on new music. He lately dropped off his newest singles “Glo” and “Woke Up,” each of which he revealed had been self-produced. The rapper additionally revealed the title of his subsequent undertaking Till Your Blocked, and requested his followers on Instagram in the event that they had been prepared for brand new music, implying that extra was coming.
