ABC is working to carry again Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to the community after the format’s temporary dalliance with HGTV.
The community is creating a reboot of the sequence, which ran on ABC between 2004 and 2012, with Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, who created world way of life model The Home Edit.

The duo beforehand fronted two seasons of Netflix’s Get Organized with the Home Edit.
After ABC canceled the present – itself a by-product of Extreme Makeover – in 2012, HGTV rebooted the sequence with Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson for one season in 2020.
In every episode Shearer and Teplin will meet a deserving household in want of a brand new house or a significant renovation. A group of builders, contractors, and design consultants will help them on every large makeover challenge, finally reworking the house primarily based on the household’s way of life and wishes.
