Eyedress has been on a collaborative streak these days. After releasing a few songs with Mac DeMarco and “Separate Ways” that includes the Marías final month, he’s again with frontwoman Marìa Zardoya on one other single referred to as “A Room Up in the Sky.”
The track performs out like a bleary, sensual head rush that’s guided by velvety vocals and was made with Grammy-winning producer John Hill (SZA, Carly Rae Jepsen) at his studio in Venice earlier this 12 months.

“Lyrically, I was talking about how my life changed for the better when I stopped doubting myself and really started believing in myself and my work,” Eyedress shares. “I realized I was subscribing to these negative thought patterns that didn’t serve me, and allowing myself to let go of that negativity really turned my life around and helped me become who I was meant to be.”
“It was so easy and seamless working on ‘Separate Ways’ together,” Zardoya provides. “Everything flowed perfectly, so when Eyedress approached us to work on ‘A Room Up in the Sky,” it was a no brainer for us. It was simply as seamless. We have loads of comparable tastes in relation to tones and comparable approaches in relation to creating.”
