Fan-favorite actor Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, Highlander, Dexter, SpongeBob SquarePants, Daredevil, The Punisher) is becoming a member of Amazon’s The Boys franchise! He has been solid within the upcoming spinoff sequence titled Gen V.
The information comes from One Take News, which says that his function is at the moment being saved below wraps, and that Brown will seem in at the very least one episode of the spin-off. I simply hope that he finally ends up enjoying a badass villain.
Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Bones), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann (Caviar), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barbershop), and Marco Pigossi (Invisible City).
The mission is impressed by the G-Men, which is a parody of the X-Men in The Boys comedian e book sequence. “Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.”
Gen V is government produced by showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters. Executive producers are Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe, Michaela Starr, and Brant Engelstein.
