The Monster Metropolis was first launched by Rick Remender and Tony Moore in Punisher, again when he was a Frank-enstein Monster introduced again from the lifeless, with needle and thread, approach again in 2009. A metropolis beneath the streets of Manhattan populated by mythological creatures. And after a conflict between the vampires and the succubi, millennia earlier than humanity even emerged, all of them went underground, residing collectively beneath what would someday be Manhattan, the Monster Metropolis. Led by Morbius, the storyline jumped to a different e-book Remender was writing, Deadpool, and principally stayed there over the decade-and-a-half.
