Five years after the pilot episode was shot for Naomi Watts’ scrapped Game of Thrones prequel sequence, the primary photographs have surfaced that includes the actress in the lead function.
The mission, which might have been known as Blood Moon, was developed by George R.R. Martin and Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service), and Watts was set to play “a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret.”
Hair and make-up designer Flora Moody posted a number of photographs on Instagram from her time engaged on the sequence, and he or she stated: “This is a chance to play with shape, proportion in the wig. To see how the makeup reads on film. To work together to find the character that portrays the director’s vision. Collaboration is KEY! This was an unaired Game of Thrones prequel that I shot 4 years ago with the wonderful Naomi Watts.”
The series is set thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, “the project chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.” The network teased the plot with the following logline: “Only one factor is for certain: from the horrifying secrets and techniques of Westeros’ historical past to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it isn’t the story we predict we all know.”
I used to be wanting ahead to this sequence and it’s a disgrace that it by no means noticed the sunshine of day.
