The estranged husband of former Miss Universe Australia, Olivia Molly Rogers, has damaged his silence four months after their shock split.
Justin McKeone has stayed out of the highlight since they introduced their separation in October after simply eight months of marriage. But after the mannequin, 30, made claims about their marriage in a brand new interview on the Life Uncut podcast this week, McKeone felt compelled to talk out.
“A wise person once said never believe there is one side to a story. Respect the dignity of a broken marriage > speaking publicly,” he wrote in an Instagram story in a single day.

“My nearest and dearest know my side and that’s all that matters to me. That’s all you’ll ever (hear) from me. Thank you for all the messages of support – I can honestly say l’ve never been happier.”
In the podcast, Rogers instructed hosts Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley that she split from McKeone as a result of he made her “miserable”. She claims she wished to name off their lavish wedding ceremony within the lead-up to their large day in February final 12 months, however she thought issues would get higher after they have been married.

“There’s something to say about thinking marriage is going to be a solution. He’s made a commitment to me so I thought things would improve,” Rogers mentioned on the podcast.
“But whatever you think is going to change when you get married, it doesn’t. It won’t suddenly heal everything.
“When it is a wholesome relationship you possibly can work on it as a workforce. But when the identical issues hold arising over and over you are flogging a useless horse.”
Before announcing their split, the couple had undergone IVF for nearly one year as Rogers thought a baby would fill a void in their relationship. But as their marriage began to unravel, she said she was “terrified” of getting pregnant.

Now Rogers – who won Miss Universe Australia in 2017 – says she’s prioritising herself in 2023.
“I’ve been actually taking the time to concentrate on myself since changing into single and I’m actually actually having fun with it,” Rogers told 9Honey in an interview last week.
“I’m able to put myself first and focus solely on what I need to do and who I need to spend my time with. I really feel like [self love] actually does have a deeper which means for me for the time being.”
“To me, self love means caring for your self and understanding that you’re worthy of happiness it doesn’t matter what. Self love is about placing your self first, caring for your emotional and bodily wants and never sacrificing your must please anyone else.”

The former couple met in 2018 and were together for almost five years before going their separate ways. Rogers announced their split in an Instagram post back in October.
“After 4.5 years collectively, Justin and I’ve come to the tough resolution to separate as a pair,” she wrote at the time. “I don’t want to make any additional statements about this within the close to future. Please respect our resolution and privateness right now. Thank you for all of your non-public DMs, kindness and help.”
