The stars have been out and shining vivid in D.C. this weekend … this as President Biden bestowed lifetime awards on a handful of them who have been honored on the White House.
George Clooney, Gladys Knight, Bono and the remainder of U2 have been readily available Sunday in our nation’s capital to obtain their Kennedy Center Honors for contributions to the humanities over the course of their lives … and so they all dressed to impress for the swanky get-together.

Other honorees included composer Tania Leon and Christian singer Amy Grant — all of them lined up for tons of images and took within the applause as JB sang their praises. At one level, he even singled out Gladys particularly and made just a little pun a few traditional tune of hers.
As for the remainder of the bunch … POTUS known as all of them “truly exceptional” throughout the reception — noting Clooney’s exception on-camera roles through the years, to not point out his philanthropy. And as for U2 … nicely, let’s simply say Joe’s a fan, going as far as to name them poets of our time.
Please be a part of us in congratulating your forty fifth class of Kennedy Center Honorees. 🤩🌈✨
Tune in Dec. 28 at 8 p.m. EST as a star-studded #KCHonors lineup pays tribute to @U2, @AmyGrant, @MsGladysKnight, #GeorgeClooney, and #TaniaLeón on @CBS and @ParamountPlus.

BTW, it wasn’t simply these celebs who have been in the home … Julia Roberts was there, as was Don Cheadle, Richard Kind, Matt Damon, Sean Penn and others. So, yeah … BIG turnout.
There’s bits of video trickling out from the precise ceremony — however the entire thing was correctly recorded and goes to air in full later this month. It might even embody performances from among the musical acts … time will inform.
