Gillie Da Kid has put a TSA agent on blast after experiencing a prolonged pre-flight pat down that left him feeling uncomfortable and visibly upset.
In a video posted to his Instagram web page on Friday morning (January 20), Gillie may be seen being searched by a TSA agent for about 1:40 minutes. While the safety verify is carried out, his Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host Wallo may be heard joking in regards to the extent to which the agent goes.
When he lastly rejoins his crew, Gillie Da Kid voices his aggravation over the encounter.
“He grabbin pieces and all that, mad early in the morning,” he says, wanting into the digicam. “N-gga grabbin pieces man. Nobody don’t gotta search you like that, man. He doing like this man, come on, man. Ain’t nothing in there but my slammer, man. You grabbin slammers early in the morning, man.”
He echoed the sentiment in his caption, to which he as soon as once more tagged American Airlines. Gillie beforehand referred to as the airline out in November for perceived racial profiling after he was allegedly requested to be searched at a Texas airport.
Video of the trade reveals the rapper turned podcaster buying and selling phrases with a TSA agent donning a cowboy hat.
“Plane full of white folks leaving Dallas and the only black man is ask does he have illegal narcotics in his bag,” Gillie wrote alongside the trade on Instagram, tagging American Airlines. “U pick the wrong ni$$a today buddy.”
Gillie may be heard saying within the video, “What are you talking about? You wanna look in here? You asked me could you search [my bag] so I searched it for you.”
“Don’t lie to the camera sir,” the agent replied.
“Oh c’mon, man, don’t lie to the camera. You walked up gonna pick me out. Get away from me man. You picked me out,” Gillie continued. “For what? I’m probably the richest person on this plane, get away from me man.”
The agent then interjected to accuse Gillie of “smelling like marijuana” and reminded the podcast host it was “illegal in Texas.”
“I smell like marijuana, are you serious? Are you serious? What do you mean be real. You be real,” Gillie mentioned. “Picked the wrong one today, huh?”
Gillie Da Kid is way from the primary rapper to voice their frustrations with American Airlines. In 2018, YG criticized the airline for being racist after he was accused of being drunk on a flight and faraway from the aircraft.
While American Airlines by no means responded to YG or Gillie, they did chunk again on one event involving Iggy Azalea, who chastised the airline for giving freely her and her son’s seat on a flight.
Airline employees then responded and advised TMZ that Iggy missed her flight due to her personal tardiness.
