Godzilla debuted within the 1954 movie, directed and cowritten by Ishirō Honda and has since appeared in 33 Japanese movies produced by Toho, 5 American movies, in addition to video video games, novels, comedian books, and tv reveals. Godzilla has been dubbed the King of the Monsters, first used within the American localization Godzilla, King of the Monsters! of the unique movie. Godzilla is a prehistoric reptilian monster, woke up and empowered after a few years by nuclear radiation, conceived as a metaphor for nuclear weapons. And now getting a giant radioactive candle-strewn birthday cake from IDW.
