

The Western Nigeria Security Network, Amotekun Corps, in Ondo State has arrested 31 suspects for numerous alleged crimes throughout the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
The Commander of the Amotekun corps, Mr Adetunji Adeleye, made this disclosure whereas parading the suspects earlier than newsmen on Wednesday in Akure.
Adeleye mentioned the suspects have been arrested for offences together with alleged kidnapping, unlawful possession of firearms and those who specialised in breaking of retailers and homes.
According to the commander, the corps wouldn’t relent in its efforts to rid the state of legal parts.
He additional mentioned the federal government was determined in its willpower to make sure that traders, farmers, residents, and commuters transfer about freely within the state with out apprehension of assaults by hoodlums.
Adeleye mentioned that the Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa-led authorities had directed heads of safety companies within the state to flush out criminals who’ve been disturbing the peace of the individuals.

“We need to reassure the nice individuals of Ondo State that Amotekun is unbroken and we’ll proceed our 24-hour patrol.
“We will continue to track all criminals from the cities to the forest reserves and ensure that travellers are not molested,”
