Peter Anthony Morgan, the lead singer of Morgan Heritage, a Grammy Award-winning group has died on Sunday at age 46.
Confirming his demise, his household launched an announcement through the band’s social media channels, though no reason for dying was disclosed. Morgan often known as “Peetah,” was the son of famend Jamaican reggae singer (*46*) Morgan and his dying alerts a giant blow to the reggae group.
He co-founded Morgan Heritage alongside seven siblings in 1994 and the band later turned a quintet. Collaborating with esteemed producer Bobby Digital, the band crafted early albums like “Protect Us Jah” (1997) and “Don’t Haffi Dread” (1999), mixing numerous influences with tight vocal harmonies.
