Apparently whereas capturing Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge tried to out-prank one another through the manufacturing. I do have to say, Harrison Ford doesn’t seem to be a prank sort of man! During a latest interview with EW, Waller-Bridge shared:
“From the moment we met, it was shitheads all round. We were taking the piss out of each other all the time, and having a lot of fun. The most extraordinary thing about working with Harrison is that you’re definitely at work — in that his work ethic is so on point, and his discipline is so extraordinary — but because he’s that specific and the foundation of the work is really strong, the rest of it can be really fun. There were a lot of pranks… lots of pranks.”
She then proceeded to recount a memorable prank that she performed on Ford, which led him to inform her to “get the hell out of my trailer.” The prank concerned utilizing masks of the actors’ faces that have been created for his or her stunt doubles to put on throughout filming. Waller-Bridge placed on a masks of Ford’s face and hid in his trailer in order that she may scare him. She stated of Ford’s response:
“It scared the crap out of him, truly. Even although that ‘actually’ is just represented by him blinking thrice and saying, ‘Get the hell out of my trailer.’”
The report then revealed that 20 minutes later, Ford returned the favor, “sneaking up on Waller-Bridge while wearing the mask of her face. He even took the time to tie his shirt into a little bow to match her character’s outfit. When requested about this later, Ford fittingly doesn’t disclose particulars, demurring, ‘I didn’t consider it as a ‘prank.’ But sure, I imply, we spent a variety of time playing around.’”
Waller-Bridge plays Helena Shaw, the goddaughter of Indiana Jones in the movie. They team up in the story to locate and ancient device known as Archimedes Dial, which is believed to grant the power of time travel. Of course, they find themselves up against The Nazis, led by Mads Mikkelsen’s Jürgen Voller.
My query to all of you is, would you attempt to prank Harrison Ford?
