HEALTH’s Jake Duzsik Discusses What Led to Darkness of New Album

When HEALTH’s new album, RAT WARS, was first introduced, it was stated that they wrote it throughout essentially the most emotionally attempting interval of the band.

Duzsik stated that he grew to become much more productive and even prolific in the course of the pandemic. On one hand, he thought that was a shock as a result of he was additionally tasked with elevating a baby. But alternatively, he, like practically everybody else, had no social life.

“I just worked a lot.”

While most of Chuck and Duzsik’s dialog revolved round his private experiences over the previous couple of years, he did need to make sure that the Loudwire Nights viewers had some expectations set for RAT WARS.

“It’s the heaviest [record we’ve done] … It’s dark. There’s some thrash with a lot of electronics. It’s not just me [doing] spoken word about my problems.”
