ComingSoon is worked up to debut the Heightened trailer for the comedy film that offers with obsessive-compulsive dysfunction and social nervousness. It is written and directed by Sara Friedman, who additionally stars within the film alongside Dave Register, Mike Mitchell, Xander Berkeley, and Sarah Clarke. It will make its world premiere throughout the twenty sixth annual Dances With Films competition at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on Friday, June 23.
“Following a mental breakdown, social anxiety and OCD-riddled Nora (Sara Friedman) returns to Maine to live with her emotionally distant parents (Sarah Clarke and Xander Berkeley). While she undergoes court-ordered psychiatric treatment, Nora’s world is further upended when she is assigned to volunteer at a local state park,” says the synopsis for the Heightened trailer. “Her awkward assignment actually shows promise when her anxiety subsides in the company of her new supervisor Dusty (Dave Register), who is dealing with crippling issues of his own. Maybe Nora and Dusty can help each other overcome the obstacles their socially complicated world presents to them.”

Heightened is produced by John Hermann, whereas Matt Ratner and Friedman served as government producers. It has a runtime of 98 minutes.
