Hilaria Baldwin has revealed the heartbreaking comment her nine-year-old daughter Carmen made about the Rust tragedy involving her father.
In an interview with Extra, the mother-of-seven recalled how she and her husband Alec Baldwin defined to their youngsters the actor had been concerned within the dying of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins after by chance firing a prop gun.
“When [we told the children], Carmen started saying to me, ‘Why are you telling me this?’. ‘I want to un-know this.’ She used the word un-know’,” a teary Hilaria mentioned.

“Alec said, ‘I want to un-know it, too’. I think everybody wants to un-know it, and we can’t because it’s real,” she added.
Earlier within the interview, Hilaria mentioned telling their youngsters about the tragedy was one of many hardest issues the pair needed to do as mother and father.
“There is no way that you can explain this because it is awful. It’s awful,” she mentioned.
“I thought I was going to do this without Alec and he said, ‘No, I can’t be a coward. I have to be there’.”
The pair are mother and father to Carmen, 9, Rafael, seven, Leonardo, six, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, two, Maria, one and their new child daughter Ilaria.

Hilaria, who’s a yoga teacher, defined that her husband needs to push on with the venture and end the movie as a result of the tragedy is so inescapable.
“We can go forward and talk about gun safety on sets, and try to figure out how this crazy thing happened, and we can go forward and honour Halyna,” she mentioned.
“We can remember her, continuing her legacy for her, for her family and we can take care of everybody who’s still here, who is extraordinarily damaged by this awful tragedy. That’s all that we can do, but we can’t un-know it.”
Hilaria additionally admitted the occasion has shaken her husband, and that she is consistently worrying about him.
“When you go through something hard, you know not every day is going to be the same,” she mentioned.
“You have moments in the day that are very hard. Nights are hard, nightmares are hard. So I’m just there, and I say, ‘I’m here and I’m going to take care of you,’ and I said that from the moment we realised what had happened.”
