John Njeng-Njeng, the Nigerian singer and rapper, who’s popularly referred to as Skales has talked about his colleague, Olamide.
He recounted how Olamide helped him when he was financially bankrupt after exiting Empire Mates Entertainment, EME.
In a latest chat with media persona, Chude Jideonwo, the ‘Shake Body’ crooner recounted how he grew to become homeless and broke after his former report label, EME refused to resume his contract as a result of the label wasn’t making revenue from investing in him.
He stated his life modified endlessly after YBNL boss, Olamide referred to as him on the phone telling him he likes one among his songs titled ‘Shake Body’.
Skales stated the indigenous rapper requested if he wasn’t going to shoot a video for the tune however he advised him that he was broke and homeless.
He stated afterwards, Olamide despatched him cash for the video shoot and the tune went on to develop into a business success.
He stated:-
“My cope with them was finished and so they refused to proceed as a result of I wasn’t doing effectively at the moment.
“Olamide contacted me and said he loved one of my songs, Shake Body, and asked if I wasn’t going to shoot the video. I told him I was homeless and couldn’t possibly shoot a video and he sent me money. My God turned my life around after that video shoot”.
