After Street Fighter II launched in in 1991, it triggered a preventing sport explosion, each in arcades and in residence consoles. But, as the last decade ended, and arcades had been failing, so too had been 2D Fighting video games. This is how Street Fighter IV utterly revitalized the style.
After SF2, preventing video games had been booming. From Fatal Fury, to King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, and extra. But then, in 1993, got here Virtua Fighter – which caused a brand new wave of 2D preventing video games, together with Tekken and Soulcalibur.
