The fortunes of Kelly’s Lucky Cove Resale Boutique are sinking quick—actually, because the weathered roof of her grandmother’s previous consignment store springs a new leak with each rain. She hopes her newest shopper, in a single day health and social media sensation Tawny Nicole, has sufficient valued and wished objects she will be able to promote quick sufficient to maintain her roof from crumbling down. 
 
When Kelly arrives at Tawny’s house to appraise her apparel, she’s shocked to discover Serena Dawson, “the Dragonista of Seventh Avenue,” there. The final time she noticed her ex-boss was when Serena humiliatingly and publicly fired her from her New York City job. Now Tawny is married to Serena’s ex-husband and is caught within the crossfire of some unfinished divorce settlements.  
 
But when Kelly returns to Tawny’s the next day, she discovers her lifeless physique—and Serena standing over it. Her former employer could also be nasty and unrepentant, however she’s no killer—prompting Kelly to decide up the threads to try to discover the true perpetrator . . .
