The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has disclosed that she is 43% Nigerian.

The mom of two made this recognized throughout a dialog with Senegalese-American actress and comic Issa Rae, Nigerian-American comic and author Ziwe Fumudoh.

According to her, a few years in the past she took a family tree check which revealed that she is 43% Nigerian.

She mentioned,

”I was extremely excited to sit down down with Ziwe, a Nigerian American comic, actor and author.

”I had my family tree check executed a few years in the past and I am 43 p.c Nigerian.

The revelation got here as a shock to Ziwe who excitedly shouted “No way” and additional requested in regards to the tribe in Nigeria she was from.

But Meghan answered, “I am going to start to dig deeper because anyone that I told especially Nigerians women are always like what?”
