Grammy-winning British singer Ed Sheeran has revealed that Barbadian celebrity, Rihanna was the inspiration behind his hit music, ‘Shape Of You.’
He disclosed this in a current interview with Hits Radio.
“Rihanna is genre-less, she can do anything. She’s the grail for songwriters. When I wrote Shape Of You, the person I was writing in my mind for was Rihanna,” Sheeran mentioned.
‘Shape Of You’ was launched on 6 January 2017 as one of many lead singles from Ed Sheeran’s third studio album, ‘Divide.’
The music gained the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance on the sixtieth Annual Grammy Awards.
Ed Sheeran additionally revealed that he wrote Justin Bieber’s hit music, ‘Love Yourself.’ He mentioned the music was initially rejected by quite a few artists.
