Interview with Kathia, Author of Game On

What’s the story behind the story? What impressed you to write down Game On?

Have you ever wished you might get a second again? Picture this: It’s Saturday night on New Year’s Eve weekend. I’m standing within the center of a busy San Francisco avenue in my wedding ceremony gown, attempting to flag a cab. Only it’s New Year’s—there aren’t any cabs, or Ubers, or something. And by some means nobody thought to verify I had a journey to the ceremony. An indication? YEP. The two and a half yr marriage ended with a seven yr divorce. So I requested myself what if I’d heeded that signal? And Emily, the heroine of GAME ON, was born.

Emily is ideal for Didier, who I fell in love with the second I heard his voice in my head after I moved to France a yr in the past. She’s a little bit cynical, loads trustworthy, and has a deep need to imagine in love regardless of her previous.

If you needed to decide theme songs for the primary characters of Game On, what would they be?

Actually, I create a playlist for each ebook. The prime three songs: “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, “Everlong” by the Foo Fighters, and “Quelqu’un M’a Dit” by Carla Bruni.

What’s your favourite style to learn? Is it the identical as your favourite style to write down?

I like to learn EVERYTHING. Literally, EVERYTHING—even the again of wine bottles and fruit cartons.

I like to write down whereas in downward canine. With a straw to sip my whiskey, and Weird Al’s “Word Crimes” taking part in within the background.

Do you’ve gotten a motto, quote, or philosophy you reside by?

Despite every thing, I imagine in love. And intercourse. And unicorns. Also, champagne is liquid pleasure and needs to be loved usually.
