Interview with Tara Grayce, Author of Forest of Scarlet

What’s the story behind the story? What impressed you to write down Forest of Scarlet?

The Scarlet Pimpernel is one of my favourite works of basic literature! I knew I needed to retell it sometime. When I got down to write this fae fantasy collection, I knew this was the right place to write down this story. It is a mash-up of fae + Scarlet Pimpernel type cloak and dagger motion!

What’s your favourite style to learn? Is it the identical as your favourite style to write down?

I really like YA romantic fantasy / gentle fantasy. Something humorous, whether or not it’s city fantasy or a light-weight romantic fantasy. That’s the identical style I write in.

What scene in your ebook was your favourite to write down?

I ADORE the banter scene between our main girl Brigid and the villain close to the top of the ebook. I laughed all over writing it.

Do you will have any quirky writing habits? (fortunate mugs, cats on laps, and so forth.)

I like to burn candles whereas I write. I’ll typically choose 2-3 candles with scents that make me assume of a ebook’s world and characters, then I’ll rotate by them whereas writing every explicit ebook.

If you can select one factor for readers to recollect after studying your ebook, what would it not be?

While this world may appear darkish, love and hope are value holding onto.
