Isla Fisher has advised of her husband Sacha Baron Cohen‘s touching gesture for her as she grieved the lack of her father.
The Aussie actress, 47, not too long ago made the journey again to Scotland, “where (her) ancestral roots are,” after the January death of her father Brian Fisher, aged 84.
“Over the past months, I’ve learnt to cope with the sudden and searing waves of grief that were once overwhelming,” she penned in an article for You Magazine.

“Now, being here in Scotland makes me feel closer to him. I hear his voice in the accents of the people I meet. I see his stoic determination in theirs.”
She then shared that her husband Cohen, a comic identified for his function as Borat, gifted her one thing to recollect her father by wherever she went.
“Sacha bought me a ring so I could hold his memory close every day,” she wrote, “It’s a simple gold band with a delicate Scottish heather. It reminds me of home.”

She shared that her dad and household might have additionally had a hand in her marriage to the comic, 52, albeit not directly.
“Jokes were a currency in our family and you were rewarded for getting the loudest laugh,” she mentioned.
