Popular Nigerian singer, Omoniyi Raphael higher generally known as Zlatan Ibile has revealed that it took months to grasp his position within the widespread film ‘Gangs of Lagos’.
The hip-hop artist Zlatan Ibile performed the position of a infamous gangster within the crime thriller known as Kash. He talked about that his position was tough to play.
During a current chat with media persona, Samuel Eni, Zlatan instructed the host that it took months for him to be taught the karate strikes for the film.
He additionally disclosed that he give up music briefly to give attention to mastering his position within the film for Gang of Lagos, a film that premiered on seventh April 2023.
He stated:-
“I’ve at all times needed to behave. I had an image in my head. But I didn’t need it to be simply any sort of film. So, after I was known as up that they needed me to be in a film by Amazon Prime, I stated, ‘Yes, this is the actual one I want.’
“It took me months to go learn those Jet Li moves, Jackie Chan moves. It was stressful a little bit. I took out my time. I had to like pause recording music for a while. It took us like two months or so and then we rounded up [with the shooting of the movie]. The movie was shot in 2021.”
