This week in the Small Press Spotlight, we’re testing a brand new sequence just lately funded on Kickstarter. Grave Brigade facilities on a choose crew of troopers on a secret mission throughout WW2 to hunt precise monsters (not simply the human ones, aka Nazis).
The comedian provides readers an “old school horror and war comics” vibe “but with a modern feel.”
The sequence is written and created by Mike Dean and Tim Radecki. Debora Lancianese is on line artwork with Arthur Hesli on colours. Dave Lentz rounds out the artistic crew on letters.

Jack Graves leads a squad of unlikely troopers towards the forces of evil, because the Nazis have used mad scientists and the occult to create monsters to assist them win the warfare. Comprised of thieves, murderers, and madmen, every member of the Grave Brigade has a troubled previous they need to overcome, however they’re all good at one factor–killing. Lucky for them there are many monsters to kill.
