Writer Kurt Johnstad has been tapped to put in writing the screenplay for the upcoming movie adaptation of the comedian ebook Prophet, in keeping with The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is about to star Jake Gyllenhaal and will probably be directed by Sam Hargrave, the director of the hit motion movie Extraction. Johnstad’s work within the motion style is notable, with Johnstad having written the screenplays for each 300 movies, in addition to 2017’s Atomic Blonde and the 2012 movie Act of Valor.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s report, Studio 8 — who’s engaged on the variation — will probably be specializing in the unique story for the character, with Prophet being buried in a bombing and waking 20 years later in 1965 to a brand new world. The movie will reportedly deal with Prophet trying to keep away from KGB brokers who need to create a brand new line of super-soldiers from his blood.
