Josh Peck is breaking his silence and sharing his response to the not too long ago launched ‘Quiet On Set’ docuseries.

On Thursday, March 21, Peck took to Instagram to share a submit with followers. The image featured a black background with textual content.

In the submit, Peck defined that he completed watching ‘Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.’ Additionally, he defined that he reached out to Drake Bell — his former Nickelodeon ‘Drake & Josh’ co-star — after Bell revealed he was sexually assaulted as a toddler actor at Nick through the docuseries.

Peck seemingly defined that he reached out to Bell privately. However, he wished to share an announcement publicly to provide his help “for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets.”

“Children should be protected,” he added. “Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult, but I hope it can bring healing for the victims and their families…”

Before concluding his ideas, Peck shared that he hopes the collection brings “necessary change to our industry.”

Drake Bell Recently Defended His Former ‘Drake & Josh’ Co-Star

As The Shade Room beforehand reported, Bell defined that the sexual assault occurred when he was 15. Additionally, he shared that it happened by the hands of a Nickelodeon dialogue coach named Brian Peck.

“I was sleeping on the couch where I usually sleep and… I woke up to him… I opened my eyes and I woke up and he was… he was sexually assaulting me,” Bell defined through the docuseries. “And I froze, and was in complete shock and had no idea what to do or how to react. And I had no idea how to get out of the situation.”

Ultimately, Bell defined that the abuse he skilled by the hands of Peck “got pretty brutal.”

After Bell’s revelation went public, social media customers took to varied platforms, seemingly ready for Peck to share his response, per The Shade Room. However, Peck acquired backlash after seemingly ignoring the docuseries and Bell’s revelation.

Instead, Peck posted a TikTookay, which left many customers outraged at his silence on the matter.
