Breathe: Journeys to Healthy Binding
Here’s how the official web site for the title describes Breathe:
And based on the press launch:
“Breathe was initially launched to review members printed as a 32-page digital-only ‘zine. Now an expanded adaptation, this graphic information options extra artwork and a deeper exploration into what the analysis actually exhibits about binding.“
The press launch continues that “Peitzmeier and her research team interviewed 25 people of different ages and backgrounds about their journeys with binding.” Excerpts from these interviews are mixed with “evidence-based resources and art” to “deliver an engaging and perspective-broadening read for anyone interested in learning what it means to be on a journey of expressing one’s gender in the ways that are joyful, healthy, and affirming.”
