Julia Roberts reveals Martin Luther King Jr and wife Coretta Scott King paid the hospital bill for her birth

A beforehand little-known reality about Julia Roberts is now extra extensively identified, due to social media.

It all began just lately when a Twitter person shared a compilation video of Roberts, who’s now 55, captioning it: “Martin Luther King Jr paying for her birth is still a little-known fact that sends me.”

A couple of days later, in honour of Roberts’ fifty fifth birthday on October 28, guide Zara Rahim tweeted a clip of Roberts sharing the story about her birth with journalist Gayle King (who is not any relation to Martin Luther King Jr).

Roberts defined that King and his wife, Coretta Scott King, took care of the hospital bills since her dad and mom could not pay the bill.

“My parents had a theatre school in Atlanta called the Actors and Writers’ Workshop,” Roberts stated. “And one day Coretta Scott King called my mother and asked if her kids could be part of the school because they were having a hard time finding a place that would accept her kids.”

Roberts’ mom stated ‘positive’ and thus started the friendship between the civil rights leaders and Roberts’ dad and mom, Walter and Betty Lou Roberts.
