It’s sure to be a fabulous celebration with all of the musical acts King Charles has lined up for his upcoming Coronation!
On Friday, the BBC introduced the official roster for the Coronation Concert — and it’s stuffed with acquainted faces! On Sunday, May 7, a number of acts are as a consequence of take the stage in celebration of King Charles and Queen Camilla‘s crowning. Even though acts like Adele and Ed Sheeran reportedly turned down requests for performances, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Andrea Bocelli will be there to honor the new King! Having Katy and Lionel on the lineup is no surprise, though, as they’ve been buddies with the 74-yr-outdated for years.

With the headliners, British pop group Take That may also be performing, together with Alexis Ffrench, Sir Bryn Terfel, and Freya Ridings — along with the Coronation Choir.
According to the outlet, the live performance will include “a broad mix of music spanning pop to classical, along with spoken word and dance performances reflecting arts and culture from around the UK and the wider Commonwealth” and can “celebrate a new chapter in the nation’s history, with themes of love, respect and optimism, celebrating the four nations, their communities and the Commonwealth.” And there’s nonetheless extra acts to be introduced!
