Chicago West is rising up so quick. On Jan. 15, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s youngest daughter turned 5, and her mother posted a candy birthday tribute to her on Instagram to mark the special day.
Kardashian shared a trio of photographs that includes her and Chicago on her grid. In the primary, she and her daughter are snuggling and making kiss faces on the digital camera; within the second, Chi is putting a pose; and within the final pic, she’s giving her mother a giant hug. The Skims founder captioned the put up with a birthday message for her “twin.”
“My twin. Happy 5th Birthday,” she wrote. “I really can’t believe you’re 5! I’m so so proud to be your mom, it’s the best feeling in the entire world. You are the cuddliest sweetest silliest most independent caring girl in the whole world and I just love you so much!”
Chicago’s mother is not the one one who’s celebrating her on her birthday. The baby’s grandmother Kris Jenner shared her personal tribute to Chi alongside a carousel of photographs on her Instagram that includes her granddaughter together with her, Kardashian, and her siblings — North (9), Saint (7), and Psalm (3). “Happy birthday to my beautiful granddaughter Chi Chi!!!!” Jenner’s caption started.
“You are our little doll who lights up every room. You bring the sunshine and the smiles every day and are so kind, sweet, loving, artistic, creative, generous, funny, and give the best hugs,” she continued. “You are the most amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend and I am so blessed God chose me to be your grandmother!!! I love you more than you will ever know!!!! Lovey xoxo ❤️🙏😍🥰🥳🎂🎁🎈”
Since her divorce from West, Kardashian has been open about coparenting and making an attempt to maintain issues as regular as attainable for her children. In a December 2022 interview with “Angie Martinez IRL,” the mother of 4 revealed why she would not delve into West’s drama together with her kids.
“If [my kids] don’t know things that are being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them?” she requested. “You know, that’s real heavy, heavy, grownup sh*t that they’re not ready to deal with, and if they are, we’ll have those conversations . . . and I’ll be so prepared. But until then, I’ll do anything to keep their lives as normal as possible.”
