King Charles III is remembering Queen Elizabeth II on the primary Mother’s Day within the UK since her loss of life.
The 74-year-old monarch took to the royal household’s official Instagram account on Sunday to pay tribute to the late queen — who died in September on the age of 96 — on the vacation. Alongside a candy throwback image of King Charles as a toddler standing on Queen Elizabeth’s lap, he wrote:
“To all mothers everywhere, and to those who may be missing their mums today, we are thinking of you and wishing you a special #MothersDay.”
