Kyle Richards opened up about her lack of a prenup with Mauricio Umansky whereas showing on Jeff Lewis‘ radio present earlier this week, revealing what she would get if the 2 of them finally divorce.
In addition to sharing the place they stand with each other as we speak, confirming Mauricio, 53, didn’t need to make their separation public, and revealing the toughest a part of their cut up, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, defined how their belongings could be divided in the event that they resolve to formally finish their decades-long marriage.
“We did not have a prenup. My husband did not have a penny when I married him… He was in the clothing business when I met him making no money. My mom lent us money when were first married. There was one Christmas we didn’t have any money for Christmas presents. My mom gave him money and his grandparents helped us so we built everything together,” Kyle revealed on the January 23 episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live.
Kyle makes it clear that in the event that they divorce, she is entitled to “half” of every part.
“He didn’t have any money when I married him and it’s our money. Let’s be very clear about that. It’s very clean cut. Everything is half regardless,” she continued.
Looking again in the mean time during which their separation was first confirmed final summer season, Kyle mentioned Mauricio wasn’t on board with publicizing their breakup.
“We’re all in therapy now. It makes it easier for me because also, Mo did not want to say so I was in a weird position. I’m not going to say, ‘Too bad! I’m on a reality show.’ He’s not signed up for the show. He didn’t even want to when it came out that we were having a problem and I put that post on Instagram. He didn’t want me to say we were having a problem,” she shared.
While Kyle and Mauricio’s future stays up within the air, Kyle instructed Jeff, 53, that the 2 of them have been in a position to preserve their residence lives as normal, other than their sleeping preparations.
“We live together in the same house in different bedrooms,” Kyle revealed. “He spent a lot of time in Aspen recently while I was here, and then I went there for two weeks with our daughters. If you didn’t know us, you would think everything was normal. I’m making dinner, we’re together but we’re in different rooms.”
As for the hardest a part of their cut up, Kyle mentioned it’s been a wrestle adapting to her identification.
“It’s really tough. I do feel like my entire identity is being a wife and a mom, and that’s been really hard to wrap my head around,” she defined. “And that’s what I think learning who I am without that even though obviously no matter what, I’m a mom. I have four daughters, and they are my best friends, but he’s also my friend, and I do love him very much, and that’s what’s also hard.”
