In our record of the perfect albums of 2023 to date, we stated: “Lana Del Rey’s ninth album, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, is strange and lovable, possessing the aesthetic and structural looseness of an artist who defies genre and form. The core of Ocean Blvd is Del Rey’s lifelong search to understand herself better, this time through her family, as she sifts through stories of religion, marriage, trauma, and estranged relations. The blend of steamy trap, ’60s beat poetry, and tumbling piano ballads is a seemingly impossible task that only a renegade like Lana could pull off.”
Tickets go on sale Friday (Aug. 25) at 10 a.m. native time. See the dates under.
