Latto likes to “Spend It” and fortunate for her she does not must pay for something. In a current interview, Big Latto disclosed that her boyfriend pays all her payments.
In a video interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 radio character J Nicks, which was posted on Jan. 27 on YouTube, Latto was requested how she stored her relationship standing so secret. The Grammy-nominated rapper acknowledged that she’s in a “real relationship” and it stays off social media, interval.
When requested if she needed to have children, Latto stated she did not need any youngsters. However, the “Big Energy” rhymer inspired different ladies to “go crazy” [or have babies] with their man so long as they have been in a dedicated relationship. That’s when Latto admitted that her boyfriend makes positive she’s okay and pays all her payments.
“If it’s yours, go crazy,” she said at the seven-minute mark in the video below. “I received the [Cor]vette, I received the Lam[borghini], I received the Birkins, I received the Heart. I don’t pay no payments. If he comin’ like that, then yeah.”
J Nicks asked Latto to clarify that her boyfriend holds her down financially.
“I do not pay no payments!” she reiterated. “That’s the way it’s presupposed to be, although. If he comin’ proper, he comin’ proper.”
Latto didn’t reveal who her boyfriend is or what he does for a living. The 24-year-old rhymer isn’t the only artist who believes women shouldn’t have to pay for anything.
In June 2022, YK Osiris disclosed that he believes women who are in serious relationships with men shouldn’t pay any bills.
“Let me inform y’all one thing,” YK said in a video uploaded to his Instagram page. “If you’re nonetheless paying for hair and nails, I’m speaking [about] any payments, any payments, any payments. If you’re nonetheless paying for payments and you bought a person…good evening!”
“If you’re nonetheless paying payments like all kind of payments like cellphone payments and stuff like that, and also you’re telling me you bought a boyfriend and you’re nonetheless paying your cellphone payments and your nails? What is the world [coming to]?” he wondered.
Paying bills aside, Latto is hoping to bring home some hardware at the 2023 Grammy Awards this Sunday (Feb. 5). She’s up for Best New Artist and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Big Energy.” The Grammy Awards telecast starts at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
