Venezuelan actress María Gabriela de Faría (Animal Control, The Moodys) has joined the forged of James Gunn’s upcoming DC movie, Superman: Legacy. She will tackle the position of the villainous character Angela Spica, aka The Engineer. Part of the Warner/DC flick’s villain workforce, Angie’s powers stem from nanotechnology constructed into her physique. Created by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch, she’s the second DC character to bear the title of The Engineer and was first launched in The Authority vol.1 #1 in 1999.
