Supermodel Linda Evangelista has made a shock confession concerning the early days of her modelling profession.
Speaking on Apple TV+’s The Super Models, Evangelista, 58, revealed she was asked to pose naked in certainly one of her first modelling jobs and was simply 16 years outdated at the time – which just about made her quit her budding profession earlier than it had even began.
The Canadian magnificence, who has Italian heritage, admitted that at the time she was ‘freaked out’ by what occurred and mentioned the job was in Japan.

“When I got to Japan, first thing they asked me was about nude photographs,” she defined.
“And they wanted to take all my measurements and take my clothes off.
“And I’m like, I simply made a composite and it had my measurements on it, and I did not need to take my garments off. I type of freaked out.”

She added she had gone to Japan alone with out her dad and mom and mentioned she rapidly went again house.
“I by no means ought to’ve went there on my own. I went house. I kind of gave up,” she said.
She said she almost gave up modelling but soon crossed paths with late Elite Model Management founder John Casablancas, who offered her a contract.
Evangelista soon moved to New York and Paris for her career and went on to become a muse for late Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.
She has walked for the likes of Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Chloé.
Also on The Super Models, Cindy Crawford called out Oprah Winfrey over an interview they did back in the ’80s.
Crawford, now 57, was just 20 when she appeared on Oprah’s show in 1986 and asked by the TV host to stand up and show off her model figure to the audience.
”I was like the chattel or a child, be seen and not heard,” Cindy mentioned on the present, as reported by The Daily Mail.
”When you look at it by way of at present’s eyes, Oprah’s like, ‘Stand up and present me your physique. Show us why you are worthy of being right here.”‘
She added: ”In the moment I didn’t recognise it and watching it back I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that was so not OK, really.’ Especially from Oprah!”
In the old footage from the interview, Oprah said, “Did she all the time have this physique? Stand up only a second, now that is what I name a physique.'”
Cindy had appeared on Oprah alongside late modelling boss and Elite Model Management founder, John Casablancas.
