Lindsie Chrisley is recalling one of the tough moments she skilled within the wake of her mother and father’ federal jail sentences on expenses of financial institution fraud and tax evasion.
Of course, Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd Chrisley and his spouse Julie Chrisley have been sentenced to 12 and 7 years, respectively, in federal jail earlier this month. That adopted their convictions over the summer season on the fees. Now, their household has been coping with the aftermath. And it hasn’t been straightforward.

Lindsie appeared on the latest episode of actuality TV veteran Kailyn Lowry‘s Coffee And Convos podcast launched late this week. During their chat, the 33-year-old star opened up about an unlucky incident she skilled after going out to get meals together with her household the day after these jail sentences have been handed down in November.
Explaining to Kailyn what occurred when she went to a pizza place close to her dwelling together with her 7-year-old son Jackson, Lindsie mentioned there was a lady there sitting together with her husband. The two have been “loudly” speaking about her mother and father’ current trials and subsequent sentencing experiences.
Lindsie defined how the lady pointed to her and mentioned:
“That’s one of them.”
The momma was crushed that she was now a focus on this controversy. However, Lindsie advised Kailyn that — at first — she didn’t need to trigger a scene or handle the unsettling dialogue:
“I hang my head because I’m not going to engage like this. My parents were just sentenced the day before. I’m heartbroken and devastated. I’m just trying to get pizza and take my kid to a place where he can go and play games and it is like a quiet, little, private place, a local little restaurant.”
Oof.
The couple saved speaking, although. Eventually, Lindsie determined to go over and allow them to know she didn’t recognize their dialogue being held so publicly and so loudly:
“I finally picked my head up and said, ‘if you please, would save the conversation for somewhere else because I am their child, we’re a real family and this is their grandchild that’s sitting right there.’”
Yikes.
This has positively been a attempting time for the Chrisley fam. Todd and Julie’s sentences aren’t any joke, both. Federal jail is a critical factor. And now, the truth TV fam’s well-known offspring should pay (a few of) the social worth too. Still, Lindsie clearly felt it was necessary to face up for her household. Would U have achieved the identical?
Interestingly, this wasn’t the primary time Lindsie spoke about her mother and father’ jail futures. Appearing on one other podcast referred to as The Southern Tea earlier this week, the 33-year-old momma defined:
“I will say that my worst times of day are in the morning when I first wake up, and at night when I go to bed because those are the two times that I’m alone, and I’m just like, alone there in my thoughts. I can’t help but think it’s almost like a countdown, I guess, because the time is limited. So that has been really, really hard. Being in my Bible, staying faithful to church, being around people that genuinely make me happy, [I have been] focusing on the things that I can control and not focusing on the things that I can’t.”
Tough occasions, certainly.
